The time has come for me to sell my FD, i havent used it in too long now. Ive moved house, have nowhere to work on it now and its just
sitting at a friends gathering dust.
Ive owned this since i was 18, im 30 now! end of an era. But it has to go. I got it as a stock car and modified it into what it is
Before I moved i did a whole bunch of work getting it back to road worthy. Realistically to be a proper nice FD it needs a full
restoration, which i dont have time or space to do. To be a track slag it just needs a thorough wash, and an MOT. It may fail on a
couple of bits (Emissions, headlights etc) but the car is structuarlly sound and shouldnt need much
I used to use this car for lots of track and nurburgring work. If Max is still around (used to run one of the RX7 companies, not sure
if hes still about?) He's seen this car...and been chased around the ring by it haha. Managed myself a 7:57 and then gave up because I
didnt want to kill myself
approx 12k on a fresh rebuild. I did myself so no docs to prove, you are welcome to compression test. Can supply pictures of the
rebuild. New housings used. End plates re-used (Were totally within spec) Injectors cleaned etc all that good stuff.

aftermarket R888 Tyres with loads of tread left (have done 1 nurburgring trip, trailered there, 10 laps or so)
Defi gauge set, oil pressure, temprature and water temp on dash. Boost guage in pillar
Oil sensor take off plate to work gauges (Sits under filter)
aftermarket stereo head unit - think its an alpine with hands free
aftermarket steering wheel with snap off boss (again a little sun bleached)
poly bushings all round
factory spoiler removed

engine power@320bhp last time it was rollered (Stock twins 14psi)
Aftermarket solenoid set (got them from a group buy on the US RX7 forum, made by saxyman i think it was)

Its had a repaint. A really really bad repaint. Long story short I had it in a friends garage and he got turfed out with 48 hours
notice while I was in the middle of doing it. I basically sprayed it in the dark because we didnt have chance to sort the lighting
out, so there are quite a few runs all over the place. Its shiny enough with a buff though!
Headlights are terrible. Literally like candles. They also need new relays fitting to them as I think the waters got into them
Gearbox is a little noisy. Goes into every gear well enough, just makes a noise when in neutral with the clutch out. I think its the
lay shaft bearings, not sure - but it drives fine. As i say just a little noise.
a few people might know this car, i dont know who is still in the scene. Feel free to chime in though if you do!
It'll need trailering away but should drive ok, its just not been run for ages and has had new suspension and no alignment done.
Price wise I just don't know where to put it. I'll start at Â£3500. Open to offers though.
I have a LOT of pictures and videos of this car. Ive included a few photos below of the car when it was being cared for, but note that the most recent ones (Taken today) are from where its clearly sat for a while. Ive also included some pics of the rebuild I did; which had new everything seals wise. Standard Mazda Apex seals, side seals corner seals oil seals etc etc.
