Dejected driver Don Sherman walks away from his Racing Beat RX-3 after a broken header put an end to his Bonneville Land Speed Record attempt. After repairs were made and another run undertaken, a new speed record of 160.3 MPH was in the books.

Well it's definitely "traditional"

Not much in the way of channelling air under for it to speed up, but there's definately a big enough of a shelf in the stagnation zone for the high pressure to push down on, and a tiny gap for high velocity/low pressure to go under.

It will all go to waste if the floor isn't flat enough to make the most out the splitter

I have said over the last couple of years that "one day" we will do a track day with wool stuck on the nose bonnet, rear window and rear wing to see if any stalling is going on.

My rear camera would show the window and rear wing, but I would need maybe a Malcolm to act as a pace car with a rear camera on the back of his boot lid.
