Yesterday dyno session with friends Rallycross car...

So, we have little problem. Friend rebuilded 13B PP engine. Rotors are Renny rotors now...
It had really long intake with 62 throttlebody. Now it has 50.(unfortunately I dont have picture now)
Header is abit different too... (shown at that pic)

Those are 3 changes made to this thing. So, problem is that it not making enough power. Power and torque curves are identical with previous setup, but just much lower!

Could this header collector be a problem? Well, I know it is but Also, what best lengt for  intake? And how we can calculate optimal for our setup?

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Hey jarno, long time no see.

I can't give any advice but I have seen this page before which may help.

http://www.racingbeat.com/mazda/performance/rotary-tech-tips/configurations.html

All I know is the 8 engine is less responsive to exhaust mods because of the side port.

Hopefully the link gives some guidance

Ok, I know this isnt rotary related, but I have to share this...

As some of you know, I really love history and old stuff. Im very passionate towards medieval times...

One of my dreams has always been to own something really old. Finally, yesterday I was able to get these from auction!

Ancient roman empire bronce coins and buckle from 1st century area. Found in UK actually

Silver 1788 Hovenschoild, Stockholm pocket watch. And it actually tics over

And H. Zimmer, Berlin 1870 sword...

Damn Im happy
