Hope you don't mind Grant, I edited the picture size so it displayed better on the screen.

Well spotted  :) - that car certainly doesn't look like it's heading for the breakers anytime soon, far too good. I've posted it up the FB forum to see if anything is known about it.

Ah, this car sold recently on eBay for £3000 in Chippenham. Looks like the new owner has collected it and it's being taken to it's new home  :)

Ok, this is not a pic, but didn't know where else to put it. :)

So, found this few days ago. Well, now I have seen it all. What kind of moron swaps Opel engine to FC!?!? :/ I mean, its a quite good engine for a four banger, but honestly!!!!  :(

This car was on sale about two years ago. Then it dissappeared. Original RZ2 with custom made body kit...

Just few minutes ago I heard that its with new owner, about 40km from me!

The R080 was a car ahead of its time but a lot of the first batch of cars lost engines in as little 1000 miles with many ending up with V4 ford lumps installed , personally I have had people walk onto the stand over the years to rubbish our cars because they are convinced that because the R080 was no good our Mazda's are useless as well !!!

I have seen a few over the last few months, you're right, definitely way ahead of its time. Still can't get my head around the automatic clutch.

Mazda was well represented on track with a number of 8s doing us proud....
