Carols are fairly rare, yes, but not impossible to find and not necessarily that pricy* (see link below).
I'd love one if only I could fit in it. Those little 360cc four-bangers are apparently very smooth-running and surprisingly silent.

https://kuruma-ex.jp/usedcar/search/result/maker/MA/year_max/1982/order/4/per_page/50
Nice link to see what's on offer in Japan. Some real gems showing up there.

*note that Japanese car ads give prices in 10.000s of Yen. So "125,0" becomes 1 250 000 before it goes in the currency converter (i.e. some 9000 quid).

So the advert in question.......

I know the guys at Torque GT down devon well-ish and had a conversation with them about this car as they import jap cars all the time.

So with the checks, paperwork, shipping, storage, tax, tax,tax and tax that car is circa 16-17k on the road in the UK

Think what you could get for 17 k ????

There are less and less car dealers in Japan willing to export rare JDM cars as that. Apparently there are no bargains that can come from japan these days.

Pipe dream, still love one, but gotta be realistic with bang for ya buck . Wouldnt wanna spend 17k to carve it up and pop a lil 12a in the back.

Hopefully they have the centre covers as well.

Racing Beat did a few special wheels a while back, here's another.

Better late than never  ;)

Lisa did a superb job in getting these designed, printed and posted in time for most members in the UK to receive it before Christmas  :icon_thumleft: Unfortunately, the postal service where I live in Colchester is so bad that mine didn't arrive until well after Christmas - we are lucky if we get one postal delivery a week at the moment!

The calendar is now on the wall within my vision as I type this  :great:
RX-8 230 Bridgeported: Racing Brake Disks & 4 pot front calipers,Full Racing Beat (RB) SS Exhaust system,RB ARB's F & R,RB REVI intake,Tein MonoFlex Coilovers & front strut brace.
RX-7, KIMI 1, 1st Gen S2, Silver,1983 - SORN
RX-7, KIMI 2,^^Ditto - now sold
RX-7, KIMI 3, 1st Gen S3, Red,1984
