Once I have seen flywheel takeoff. Dont wanna see it ever again. Damages were massive, fortunately it didnt hit the driver

Not always high horsepower cars
When I was racing Mini's as a kid we saw one come off track, looked around at the car that was reving like mad 60-70 feet away.

The flywheel exploded and the bits came past us. (In the rules we were allowed to lighten the flywheel   ???)
All the best Clive

Thats true Clive. Flywheel that I witnes flying off a car, was from MK2 Escort. Bolts just shattered and everything went just like explosion. Thats why blast shield are good idea, even in low powered cars

I did some research..and its not a mazdaspeed but a Spirit R cluster..its like the MS but with the R emblem...
It was acting funky in the car so i put another in...that acted funky too. So i built a good 1 outta the 2.
I suppose its only worth what an owner of a Spirit R without a cluster is willing to pay...it was in a box  in my garage its now wrapped in bubble wrap...in a box in my garage lol.

In ten years time you are going to find that Box and throw it in the bin to make room for Honda parts

Lol no way...Civic has gone...sold that about a month ago. It went to some facebook breakers and is totally stripped now for parts. Mx5 turbo is what we are tracking now.
I see on facebook so many people breaking old jap cars its so sad. But when they thin out boom prices rise!

That’s trick !!

I’d like to build summat similar one day. Turn my 8 into summat.

Won’t be much of the original 8 left.

But same can be said for the lotus

A little bit of peripheral post sexiness for you ,,,,,

Just finished machining these for a client,

Unfortunately it’s not going to be one 4 rotor PP engine, just two – two rotor PP engines
