Fast indicators on right side

Ok so I have the dreaded fast clicking indicator on the right side of the car. All my indicators work except the front right bumper indicator.

I have...

-changed bulb (still don't work)
-cleaned terminals
-followed wiring in engine bay to see if any breaks/damage.
-checked wiring at rear lights
-pulled the flasher cpu from under dash and checked all solder joints etc
-checked wiring under steering column

I'm really at a loss and on the verge of burning the car as I have my mot in a few weeks!?

Anythjng im missing guys? Any help would be awesome.

Have you verified 12 positive at light unit.
1. Check 12 v positive at light unit connection to good chassis earth or battery earth. Yes then try to light  earth. No 12v then bad earth on light unit. Re earth with another wire.

No on either then there is a break in 12v pos feed which will be somewhere from relay forward....prob easier to run another wire to light unit.
If you havent got a multi meter make up a test lead with a 501 bulb.
Hope this helps...had a similiar issue with my side lights on my 93 colt...wanted to pull my hair out.

If that does not sort it, give the lamp a separate earth wire.

Hey, after routing around for a long time it was a bad earth wire at the plug. As the wire was stuck it disn't feel loose on the pull so overlooked it.
