Here are a few pics of the car during the last 8 years.
Not sure how to add pics so if someone can do that then thanks.
http://s135.photobucket.com/user/mazboy/media/s1%20rx7/XSP_0048.jpg.htmI still love this car as it was better than i could have expected, even back in 2006 when i bought it. I drove it to Le Mans classic in 2008 with my son and even with a stock 12a it went really well. However i wanted more power and having a 13b 6 port in my rx3 with the obligitory Ida on top, decided to build a special for this car. At the same time i swapped the front and rear suspension, but retained the drum braked back axle. Early last year i decided to do the track day at Brands, so knowing it would improve the breaking and gain the lsd, i fitted my s3 axle with 4:7 final drive, put a set of 14 inch aleycat rims on and got it motd the day before. I drove the car to the track, got it noise tested then did a few demonstration laps before the open sessions began. It went really well, handled nicely, even when pushed hard under the instructor\'s commands! With the short final drive i had to hook 5th on the main straight, before entering Padock where it felt great, although a slight scrape from the rear tyre hitting the arch in the compression zone, 185 tyres would eliminate this or adjustments to the watts linkage. I have now listed it for sale in the ads. If it sells then someone will get a true classic that is fast, sounds lovely and will appreciate in value, or could go Historic racing in the Hscc 70s road sports.
