Help...

....looking to get my split rim 17" alloy wheels refurbed, centre piece blasted and painted, and the outside edge polished, however most companies won\'t touch them unless i can get replacement stud\'s incase they break as they strip the wheels down....I\'ve included a picture of the studs required...

....does anyone know where i\'d get some from???It\'s either refurbishment of the current wheels or buying new ones.......

Any advice welcome.

Marc

Buy some more!!

I\'ll take those off your hands if you ask nicely.  I suppose.

Wouldn\'t have thought it would be hard to get hold of those jobbies though as they must be standard bits.

maybe worth asking local or not so local wheel/tyre experts presuming it wasn\'t one which told you this? Surely it\'s basically just a fancy wheel chrome screw/allen key kinda thing.......

Do you have anywhere near that specialises in nuts and bolts, you might want to take one to them and see if they can match it?

Ill consider them if they are for sale :p

They need to use the correct torque settings on them and if thats ok I dont see any reason why one would snap.  Refurbing split rims is a pain in though.
