Iv had a few customers that have had fantastic results from unexpected company\'s.
Basically they all ended up on one of the comparison sites.

Try Reis with Mrc discount for club members. Mine with all mods declared is cheaper than my astra! Never been able to work that out.
There are performance cars and then there is the RX-7...........

Got quoted by REIS. 918£ 5track days, 7000miles usage, 350 excess. No Nurburgring... under any circumstances. was told if i go there, they cancel the policy...
Sky quoted me 998£ no track days, but all mods protected like for like, and 400£ excess.
Why is that i can not get a decent quote?

I dunno. My details are similar to yours 32 years old full no claims etc. Only thing is on my policy I have an agreed 3k miles limit. I can up it to 5k for a little more though if need be. Mine came back at around £350 all in this year. Best I have ever had since owning the FC.
I struggled this year though to find a decent quote. I asked a few of the commonly used companies why other people on here, that live in higher crime areas, that were younger than me with less driving expeariance and higher powered FD\'s got cheaper quotes. I got told that its basically a postcode lottery and if you live in a nice weathly area then if you crash its more likley to be into something expencive. Bloody joke.
Then I found REIS and all was good :)

Oh I was with AdrianFlux and they nearly doubled the premium in the second year. Hence the shopping around. Once I called them back to cancel and told them what REIS had quoted (£300 at the time, before I added cover to drive other cars too) they matched it within 2 mins minus the track days.

I need to speak to flux about track day cover too but I think you can just add it on as and when, I want to get some miles under my belt first with my new FD before hitting the track anyway
