Help urgent ive broken down :(:(

Hi right im stuck in high wycome just driving normally and the engines cut out its turning over but the fuel pump itsnt whurring irs a 044
Any ideas would the egi fuse stop the pump ? Because the egi fuse has blown

Yes the EGI fuse would stop it, look for another 30amp fuse that you can put in there from the fuse box that you can swap it for, use one that dont matter at the moment to get you home such as the retractor fuse.

I guessed it would i done that drove 2m if that and the fused blew again :( so im just waiting on the recovere truck to take me home now

Hmm sounds like you got somthing some wrong there
Did you buy the 044 pump yourself or was it on the car when you got it?

It was on the car when i got it its working now as soon as a new fuse goes in everything works as soon and i start to move the egi fuse blows again :(

Well to top my day off the i was in the recoverey truck for 10 befre a bird smashes the windscreen

Something must be shorting out in the wiring to blow the fuse again so get it to a specialist to trace the fault.
