Anyone else braving the elements for the British GP this weekend?

We\'ve borrowed a RAV4 and both have full waterproofs - I think we\'re going to need them!  :2eek

Im watching it on the telly at the moment (I used to go to Silverstone religiously)

Regardless of the rain, im jealous because it would still be good to be there!

You\'re right I shouldn\'t complain and we are really looking forward to it. I\'m a Lewis fan and he is awesome in the wet - especially around Silverstone.

Not sure what\'s going to happen regarding qualifying? It\'s finally stopped raining in MK so hopefully some better weather is heading their way.

Yeah, I read it was supposed to be better tomorrow, still with a few showers.  Shall be a very interesting race if it keeps being wet and dry - really looking forward to it!

Where will you be watching from?

Luffield complex - we didn\'t go last year so first time since the circuit was changed.

Just collected the RAV4 we\'ve borrowed from a friend and planning an early start.

On the Sky news coverage earlier I saw a red RX-8 in the queue! :2eek

I forgot to update this thread - did everyone enjoy themselves?

It was a fab day in the end (maybe except for the results  )

We had no problems getting in - parked in a proper car park right near the entrance and not blocked in. It did seem to be a bit pot luck where you ended up though.

Took my full waterproofs and not one drop of rain. It was very muddy but the preferred outfit seemed to be tshirt, shorts and wellies. So did I take any sun block? No. Do I have a red face? Yes!

We wondered out after the race via the ice cream van, straight to the car and straight out. We were home by 3:30 to watch the tennis - never got out of Silverstone so quick. I believe some people had issues where the instructions about the nose to tail parking exist strategy wasn\'t very well communicated - reports of fights on Facebook! :eek
