couldnt find a way to watch the 2 races that were streamed live? any ideas? :sign0085:

Clive, good job not the results you were looking but sounded like you had epic fun.  looks like only splitter damage?

did you get the flashy shift light in and if so did it help with the upshifts?

Yes John you needed to be on either the BRSCC facebook page or the Alpha Live website which was accessible from the BRSCC Youtube page.

You can watch the two races that were streamed live here.

nice one

i was hunting for the same vids.

I wasnt sure what to expect having never seen the track in person before, but sitting at redgate, the overall track looked smaller than what i imagined in my head.

That said, leading up to the old hairpin, the bends look vastly different sitting at redgate than when you see them stood from the infield.

Im sure when sitting in the car, Donington seems huge, my boss said this morning its a big track as hes done lots of bike track days there.

When the Russian cargo plane took off from East midlands airport as the cars went round, i bet that was unnerving. It was HUGE! looked like a scene from independence day.

Great day tho, I enjoyed the hot bath when i got home lol
Its just Rotors and GRP

I watched both races live  :)

That 2nd race was so exciting to watch, with Clive moving through the field form a pitlane start to 2nd place in such a short race.

It's a shame another car rolled into the gravel just as Clive was on that final lap and went off, as the live cameras were focused on the rolled car and missed Clive's incident until it was all over  :(

Glad you are looking on the bright side of that 2nd race Clive, it was one hell of an achievement to get to 2nd and I can understand why, given the whiff of a chance to pass on the last lap and win, you took that opportunity. Pity it didn't work out, but that's racing for you! I hope the damage to your car is minimal and easily fixed

Very much looking forward to the in-car video of 2nd race  :icon_thumleft:

Here is the In Car footage cut in with the TV feed from Clive's amazing last to Second Place. Watch Rich Hockley sideways almost join Clive in the gravel :)

great bit of video editing  :icon_thumleft:

I had a little chuckle on lap one..... Clive like ah Ill just coast round, adjust my rear view mirror , i'm bored now, ill just annihilate this white Hyundai

Last lap spin, didnt look like you instigated any turn on the wheel to cause the spin, cant tell if it was brakes, oil or both.

Such a shame it didnt come together. Sterling effort!

Huge thanks to Philips work putting this together, also,  Wow, just seen at the end how lucky Rich Hockley's Civic was as well, at least  with front wheel drive there's half a chance of getting out of a rear  end break away, where as you have zero chance with a rear wheel drive  car like mine!!
All the best Clive

Thanks for the comments and support , first did not finish (DNF) all season and 12 trophy's brought home, so not a bad season.
As you will see because the marshals were great and took so much care, all I have is a slightly bent splitter.

Last race of the day bonus?
Wet, cold, knackered, nothing left in the flask but this time there was nobody yelling at them to get it cleared fast to keep on schedule and no point rushing to join the queue for the exit!  ;D

Is that your AFR guage on the dash? Doesn't have vary from 9 to 15!

Not too worried about the AFR gauge these days, exhaust colour is perfect :13:
