Blimey you’ve only just had that redone.

You’re keeping Steve busy lol

I wanted a little re-design ( not like this though) and because of what I wanted Steve's come up with a variation that should give even more frint end grip---- grip --------------grip always need more grip. ;)
All the best Clive

Rubbings racing...
How bad is Nicks car?

Never been one to back away from a little Rubbins Racin

Nick's Cars not good, he did exactly what I would have done and have done with a front wheel drive car, he kept his foot in.

If you lift with a FWD car that's out of control, you just go straight, trouble is, you hit the barrier harder.

Not a write off and hopefully he will be at Donny next month.

Clive
Have you considered using a roof scoop to get cold air into the car whilst racing ?

Maybe a bit ugly but worth every penny , I wish I’d fitted one years ago , constant fresh air blowing in your face is very nice .

Can anyone else smell the sarcasm from Steve???? lol

Wayne, that's a fair shout....

I was looking at these the other day

https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/grp4-fabrications-evo-style-fibreglass-roof-vent-grp6472fg/

Ive gotta shave so much weight out of my doors, I was contemplating just fixed polycarb side windows but without the slidey vents and thought I need something as ive removed the air con system from the Rotus.

Then I thought ive done so much fibreglassing of late, I may have a go of making my own.

I joke to people who come round the shed and say, the roof is the only original part that is Lotus.

Turns out that may not be the case anymore lol
Its just Rotors and GRP
Rx8 powered Lotus Elan +2,
'54 RX8 Strato Blue.

I have the TRS carbon one , it’s real good and looks very similar to the one you attached but slightly more expensive at £245.00 . You could have a bash at making one but it’s the internal adjustable vents which aim the air that are critical . And of course being able to close them in winter

I thought about buying a couple of these and graft them on

https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/demon-tweeks-adjustable-dash-air-vent-437332/

I like the drain on the housing to connect a hose to, to drain off the rain water... simple idea and it works. Wasn't sure how they did that till I saw the piccys. I.E. the vents are higher than the drain.

Carbon Fibre eh? you going all posh on us? lol

I don't think my skills extend as far as making carbon parts.

Just take the windscreen out Clive, saves weight and you will have maximum wind blowing through your hair
