Had a good day up at Pip's (WGT Auto Developments) today with around 3 hours on the Dyno fine tuning my new wastegate system.
Finally the ECU is seeing the boost through the solenoid operating the wastegate on the closed loop system shown below.
Same BHP at just 1 Bar (14.5 psi) but now the boost holds because before it was bleeding off a third of the boost available immediately, boost also comes in 1000 rpm earlier
Also found that the car started running out of fuel despite showing over half a tank of fuel, which tells me that the fuel is not being siphoned across from the other tank,so I need to pull out the new pot and find out why.
I now have a switch on the dash that cuts the solenoid off and the wastegate goes to 0.8 Bar (11 psi) and this lower boost setting should help get the car under way without lighting the tyres up so easily, then once underway I can flip the switch to give full power
Car "should" now be a fair bit quicker going into the new season with a consistent 410 BHP at the wheels
