RX-8 speedo loom
« on: January 16, 2012, 11:47:13 AM »
Hi guys,
I have just picked up an RX-8 speedo/rev counter binnacle and it has no wiring plugs/loom. I will be fitting it into my MX5 and wondered where would be the best place to get hold of one of these? Are they expensive?
Thanks guys!
Matt

The NC MX-5 and the FE,SE RX-8 use a totally different CAN BUS system...undertand that first and it is impossible....let alone IDS compatibility.

ECU/PCM, Immobilizer, Speedo Head, DSC,TCM, Air Bag Modules, all interface together, particularly first 3.

Now having said that if you wast a total abortion of a set up with almost nothing working and constant CEL\'s (DTC Codes) go right ahead.

Just going on what the Guy in the Mags said... though he did fit them in to a track car.

Though looking at the OP\'s username it could actually be the guy from Jap Performance lol
