Yeah... it\'s got brand new rotor housings and plates.  They were all taken to Pip who ported them for me...

Looking good adam:cool:

Have you managed to take the water pump studs out in order for the front end plate to sit flat on that wooden board? Or did you simply drill holes in the board where the studs go? Cos that is a nice little touch to get the engine to build up nice and flat. Think i\'ll have to start drilling some holes ;)

Paul:)

You can actually take them out easily. But with mine being a new front plate the studs come in a seperate packet to fit at a later date....

I hope to be bolting on my turbo this weekend :)

Well....  the the block is ported by pip.  I have a front mount intercooler (Greddy) 1300CC injectors, Blitz nur spec with mid pipe. Apexi power FC and commander and a HKS T04E turbo kit.  Plus a few other bits  :)

I would highly recommend anyone thinking of rebuilding their engine themselfs, to do it......  i have learned so much and it\'s not too hard with the aid of a rebuild video.

Hi Adam,
you are so right!
Rebuilding it yourself is really rewarding. Although I wouldnt have been able to do it without that video, did you use the same one by Bruce Turrentine? I also used the FD workshop manual.
