Hi guys,
Hope this is ok with admin, but please let me know if there are any issues. I recently took my car down to my sponsor in Reading to be worked on. I have given the car to them in return for them building and running the car when I\'m competing the British Drift Championships and other series over the next few years.
The car was temporarily outside due to space restrictions. Thieves have visited twice and have taken the wheels and calipers as below and also new red bucket seats (FIA) and black leather normal FD seats that were already sold, and I now need to give money back to the guy who bought them (These were locked in my transit).
Apart from the obvious money issues, this is a real knock for me and the time it\'s going to take before we get the FD ready to compete this season. If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it. The wheels and calipers in particular are very rare so easy to spot. The wheels have nearly new 888 semi slicks on them :(
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last night someone went to the workshop and removed 4 wheels 17" of a Mazda RX7 RSR, they also took the time to remove the calipers and disc\'s. (RZ sizes)
So not the usual pikey scum just nicking to weigh-in at the scrappys.
Someone has either got a car in need of or someone has had them nicked to order, but it means that someone is aware of RX7\'s and who we are.

Attached a couple of pictures to hand around, taken a couple of years ago from home.

Im asking anyone into there Jap metal to let other forums know and if they are offered any of these rims please let us know, the RSR was 500 only worldwide and as far as Im aware there are only 2-3 in the UK, so these are very rare and should be easily spotted.

We are near Reading Berkshire, so please any club or Jap meets in the area keep an eye out.

If these are returned anonymously then no more will be said, but if caught, they will be prosecuted, their full details and photos of the car and person will be put on every forum that is willing, and 8-10 of the web sites I own, I will have posters made and distributed to car shows, garages, forums warning people that if you are seen with normal decent people they will know you are a thief and I will let everyone know that you are scum. If you are caught these posters will appear around where you live, I will even pay to have these published in your local paper.

A reward will be offered to anyone that has correct information that leads to the recovery of.

I can be contacted on 07973 111555

That\'s really ....ty Dave - I\'ll keep my eyes peeled.

Got any pics of what\'s gone ? I could go look them up I know, but it may save some time.

Hold that - Are they the wheels on your pic ?

Thanks for the help guys, we\'d really appreciate any info. Yes, they are the wheels in the photos.
The sponsor will be getting the car on the road for me but its gutting as having to replace these will no doubt have a knock on effect on many other things including the time it takes to get ready to compete. Claiming on business insurance that already cost many thousands with hefty excess is rarely a practical thing in these cases. The fact the items are so rare is a real knock as well :( Hopefully it will mean we can recover them.  I have bought a stash of 18inch tyres for this season and was planning on selling these wheels to help fund some 18inch one. The RZ calipers are just very good and plenty enough for drifting so I really didn\'t want to loose them off the car and have to find a replacement.

And meant to add that the bucket seats and leather seats were all my own and taken out of my transit. I now have to refund the guy who bought the leather seats :(
