I ....ed up the last post as it\'s the passenger side sill being fitted and not the drivers side one (right hand drive) . Here\'s the sill being lined up before the rear arches were cut off .

Rear flared arch being offered up then the excess standard arch was chopped off . Then the inner wheel arch tub was chopped out and extended to meet the cut back rear wing to give max tyre clearance .

Hi chaps , i\'ve had a few internet problems of late but all working again . The bodyshell has progressed some more and i\'ll post some pics up later . I\'ve got a Jaydee 500+bhp engine now which i bought off Ed-13B last weekend so the car should be quite nippy !!!!! :chat
I need to save some money/sell something and then get a Porsche 911 gearbox . Once this is done we can join the rotary motor to the 911 box and fit them into the shell . :)

Well depending on what you want it for then the following are all what i thought of when i was deciding .

1= Renault 5 Gordini turbo engine and transaxle . 200-250bhp
2= Hayabusa engine and Hayabusa sequenetial box . 170bhp or 300+bhp with a turbo .
3= 20v 1.8 turbo vw/audi engine with vw passat/audi transaxle . 200-350bhp
4= 2.3 race vw beetle engine and rancho gearbox . 210-230bhp .
5= subaru turbo engine onto subaru gearbox converted to 2 wheel drive . 250-400bhp
6= cosworth sierra turbo engine onto renault un1 transaxle . 250-500bhp

options 1,2,3,4 and 5 will all fit easyish but 6 is too long and sticks out the back too much . Also the rotary motor is cheaper to get high power from and very small so that\'s why i picked it . Decisions decisions :)

Hi Gaz

I think you know my mate Nathan who runs a twin turbo v8 mini.
What turbo are you thinking of running?

I\'d somehow missed this... It\'s mental enough to be absolutely wonderful, especially with the engine you\'ve got hold of. Best of luck :cheers

Chris.

Hi mate , yes Nathan is a good friend of mine and will be doing some fabrication on the Fiat once the rust is sorted . Not thought about turbos yet but probably a TD06 or something  :)

Cheers mate , i think it might end up being about 900bhp per ton now !!!!!! :2eek :2eek :2eek . Hoping to run in the 10\'s on street rubber which should be on the cards as the engine is in the back aiding traction and the car is going to be light .

Thanks to everyone for taking an interest in my project , i\'ll take some more pics of the bodyshell and of the Jaydee 13B-REW engine next week . The engine was from Ed Roberts\' very tasty RX7 FD car and has a large street port , bendy rotor seals etc and was on 1.2bar of boost with a T88 turbo and water injection .
I saw a black RX7 FD with a few stickers on it in Sutton this evening and foooooook me was it loud . Sounded like a bridge port when ticking over (braaaap braaaaap) so seeing that made my smile . Wifey weren\'t impressed with the racket from it though !!!!! :Thumbsup!
