HT leads will cost about £70ish for some good mantacor leads, the stock leads are thin and can cause ignition issues, this is rather bad for rotarys.

click on the FC series 4 manual. The series 4 wasn\'t in the UK as we got the series 5 only, but all the parts in the series 4 are basically the same, just some parts are on the other side of the car cause the series 4s were LHD

We didn\'t get series 4 turbo\'s
we did however get series 4 non turbo\'s

Cheers guys! All this tech stuff goes way over my head.. It\'s insured up to 1500 miles PA so hopefully it will last me until then and then i will probably sell her on.. I will take some pictures of the engine bay and you guys can point out stuff you feel looks like its not in the right place or needs changed..

I\'ve still to hear from Ben.. So i don\'t know whats happening with the bonnet..Had a look at the bonnet tonight and it seems simple enough to remove..

Anyone know where i could get a white mazda badge for the front and a black RX7 badge for the back?.. Ive got both in chrome but i know if i try painting them it would turn out a mess.. Anyone?

try flebay for the badges / emblems things.
when i got my fd it didnt have any on the back n there was a yellow badge on the front, from a dist ppl say looks like a ferrari lol

i think keep them off as looks smoother n keeps ppl guessing while ur at the lights lol

Ha ha.. true.. Right.. i think i have decided i will take off the badge on the back.. and put on the two chrome badges i have here.. As the car has been resprayed though i am not sure what the paint under the original badge will be like.. I guess its a gamble i\'ll just need to take.. i got another badge in today that i have ordered only to find out it was only about 4" in length.. haha.. I actually think my big Mazda badge is still alot smaller than the original one on the car..

Can anyone suggest any steering wheels on eBay that would fit my RX7?. This is the kind of shape im looking for but i\'m not sure which will fit and which wont..

Yep thats the wheel I have just fitted to mine. It\'s not he best quality but it works and feels good in the hand. It\'s smaller than the stock wheel so you loose some of the dash view. As for the hub I got the quick release but not the actual hub. The quick release works fine and looks ok too.

ahh really?.. was it from that exact seller?.. I\'m quite scared about this quick release thing.. does that mean i could be driving along and the wheel just comes off?...

Could i be the biggest pain in the arse and ask you to take a picture of it installed in the car if possible?...

i\'d like to see ur quick release also.
i got one but it adds about 3inches to how far the wheel sticks out.
atm the length to the wheel is just right.. any closer n u gotta have arms like a t-rex to drive it!

anyone kno if there are really shallow boss as most are about 3inches deep?

i dont kno how tall u are but dont u find the steering wheel too close?
unless the jdm fc\'s driver seat does not move as far back as uk fc\'s (being that jap ppl are supposidly a tad bit more vertically challenged than eng ppl)

Yep I\'m a bit of a short arse only 5\' 6". So its not really a problem for me. To be honest it shouldn\'t be a problem unless your pretty tall and then any car like the Rx7 would be a problem. I think you can get shorter hubs mind they are just a bit harder to find. I\'m sure i\'ve seen them on U.S Ebay. Maybe try emailing the people selling the wheel and see if they can get hold of one for you.

nt seen a shorter hub so far.. shame as i want to fit the Q/R boss.
helps stop naughty ppl nicking the car lol
wonder if theres such thing as Q/R gear sticks lol

Here are a few pic\'s of the wheel/hub fitted to my car. I was just thinking about it\'s position when driving home. It\'s not bad at all really. It does take a little bit of getting used to as the indicators etc are further away and the size of it means you put lock on quicker. But it does make you feel more like your driving a sports car rather than a GT car.
