RX-4 shell on RX-7 base

I always like oldschool cars like ford mustang GT500 aka ELEONORA
 
but I also like RX-4 coupe:D
 
now I have clear body of rx-4  without transmition, steering stytem, nothing except
interior both hood.
 
and I bought dead rx-7 FC NA next week starting the rebuild
I want cut of rx-7 shell from transmition and steering system and stick rx-4 shell
 
Has anyone done that before? any suggestions how to do it
I want to copy that idea

I used to live next to a guy who\'d put a 2.8 Granada lump in his Moggy Minor, it was utterly hilarious. Looked totally stock except for Minilites and side exit-exhauts, and the look on people\'s faces when it owned them off the lights was worth the price of an admission ticket!

but made somce calcs

 
there few problems
a) some how I need to make FC NA base 8.75cm longer:2eek
b) rx-4 shell width is 2cm shorter will be problems with R18 wheels.
front 225/40 rear 265/40
c) new rx-4 will be higher for 12cm tan FC, that sucks drom with springs will give only 4-5cm
 
good news car will be lighter by more than 200kg:Thumbsup!
 
here is the FC DONOR, it looks very good it is sad to cut it of



 
And there is engine
replaced oil pump and found new 710 CAP aka OIL while waiting for parts next week start porting

McPie That rx7 looks too good to be cuted!!!! interior is awesome!!! you should look for other donor i think. rx4 easy can fit 18" wheels. mine has 17" now.

there is one more FC with 1.8 WV DOHC KR 134kw
but there wate of time and money it has now full FC wire, sot ir means more problems
here I have everything.
One day  20B replace 13B, but I don\'t know when that day comes
 
 
any way who can tell where I have to cut if want to make 8.75cm base longer...
center, fron or end? I think better way to dot ir near rear side.

Drive shaft will be smallest problem you need to solve. then you will need drife shaft, just call me and i will give you number for drive shaft specialized service. It\'s easy to make it longer or shorter.
If you need longer wheel base easyiest way to cut car in half under drivers seat. IMHO

tomorrow will start to cut and soon will try to put on RX-4 shell, then decide were to cut and make rx-7 base longer by 8.75cm:Viking

I did some cutting, sorry for mobile photo quality, but some people say that it is better to make rx-4 shell shorter by 8.75cm

maybe, but today the master will find out what he will do to my project

Oh and one more, I think that rotory project price is the same as eletro car so if it is hibrid of two cars anyway maybe convert it into zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoom electric car
