How much for a non runner?
« on: October 12, 2007, 01:23:21 PM »
Hi guys,

Possibilty of a cheap car here.

Its having problems that i dont have the time or money to sort unfortunately. Some are saying rebuild, some are saying it may not be a rebuild.

All I know is that its having probs. Will know more tonight as having a compression test and a check up.

If worst comes to the worst, how much would a non-runner be?

Non-runners don\'t seem to be worth a lot - my guess (without knowing the car) would be something like 1.5k-2k...

Maybe better to break the car and sell off the bits. That\'s what I tend to do with motorbikes that prove too expensive to restore...
