where to buy wiper switch relays?

Hi. I have read that the wiper switch is a common problem. I have this problem. I found on an American forum there was a link to another site that tells you how to take the switch apart to access the faulty relays, pretty easy.
Anyway, does anyone know of a supplier here in the UK for the three relays?

IIRC its an OMRON part, dont have the part number to hand.  But a company like RS or ARD components should be able to sort you out! :wave

RS is short for Radio spares, they are a big engineering/technical supply company.  http://www.rswww.com/  is the link (I think).

 CPC or ARD are similar but smaller organisations.

Both RS and Farnell stock the relay you need - it\'s an OMRON SPCO or SPDT 12V relay - it\'s actually meant for telecoms, but it seems to be an exact fit.

RS part number is 376-600 for the same relay. http://rswww.com
 
I think that is the correct one, not sure I still have the receipt for it - I did mine about 4 years ago.

Mine has the usual wiper problem. Works fine on full speed but thats it. Will I need a new switch or relays? If anyone can help I be greatful.

Hi Ade. From what I gather you just need to replace the 3 relays. I took my switch apart, cut the back off and found the relays. That\'s as far as I got. I now need to find new relays then replace them. But to be honest I can\'t be bothered at the moment! I put the switch back together and back in the car. I would prefer to get the relays first, then take the switch out, repair it, and put it all back together in one go. Rather than waiting to get the relays with the switch in bits.

could anyone confirm if this is the correct  relay ? i looked at the relay and it appears to have 6 pins where as the one in the pic is only 4.
 
also on this site it says the relay that is needed is 12V, PCB relay, 8A SPST-NO/SPST-NC
