Wish I still had it!!!
« on: October 13, 2006, 11:15:00 AM »
How many of you have sold your FD and thought sometime later "Wish I still had my FD"

I sold my car in May, id had it 3 years and fancied a change. I recently bought a BMW 330ci, I could not afford a M3 so the 330 was the best I could get for my cash. Since then I\'ve always wished I still had the FD!!!! Don\'t get me wrong the 330 is really nice but if you fancy going for a spirited drive, the car lacks in so many different ways. Steering, feel, suspension, speed etc etc.

Im now trying to think of a way of getting another FD and not getting a divorce in the process.

Oh how I miss my RX7!

Yeah, I sold my FD earlier this year after 2 years of ownership, but in 2 weeks time I will be back in the seat of my new TD07 RX7!

I really have missed being able to just go out for a blast and the feeling the RX gives you as you floor the throttle!

Annoyingly I have now missed all the nice weather and will have to wait until next year to fully appreciate what I have brought.  It’s ok though because it gives me all of winter to get it set up and running well.

2 Weeks to go, I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sodl mine to Andy Smee a few weeks back now and have missed it every day since, espeacially when i\'ve been going up to the shows in the back of my friends impreza!
Selling it is helping me getting my own place now, and i\'m sure one day i\'ll get another, but as i keep saying to my mates, you cant drive a flat up to a show or around twon having fun! :rollin

Feel for you mate, but don\'t worry, you\'ve got plenty of time to sort your life out financially and get back on the RX bandwaggon.
FD or not FD? that is the question.

Well thats it, I sold the FD cos I bought my first home and got married. That two things cost a hell of a lot!!!!
Im hoping to get a new job (contractor) and in a years time be able to afford another one.

Well actually you could but it\'d be a little cramped for both of those ;)

As you guys know sold the PurpleOne only 3 weeks ago and the Skyline isn\'t the same !!!

Much better to drive and more comfy but it isn\'t a RX :Nono!  the wow factor is with the rx\'s, peeps at work actually prefer the Skyline but if i be honest the rotary is in my heart now and the plan was to come back to them later next year, but the way i feel might be sooner !!!!

Yea didn\'t explain properly, i meant for comfort and ease and also you get in turn the key and drive and then wait for oil temp to increase before booting it, whereas the RX you have to be really careful when cold and very slowly drive until everything is nice and lubed , for performance and handling the RX was much better, for pure rush the RX is better and for a bigger smile the RX is most definately better.

So much so already thinking of ditching the Skyline if i best honest but wife would kill me, cant see the Skyline staying longer than early next year :Hammer :Hammer :Hammer
