how much play on turbo shaft?

what sort of play is acceptable on the compresor side of the turbo on a series 5 turbo II? Ive got noticeable play and if its not worth it then ill chuch it or rebuild it... im talking about up/down shaft movement

I was always led to belive up and down movement doesn\'t mean alot unles its catching the Housing, its the in and out movement you worrie about.

The Up and down movement is the Clearance int eh Plain bearings for the Oil.
