And i bet the OTR price of these cars is less than the amount of money spent on the top *powered* rx7s in the country.
And Fiat Coupes.
Ulitima GTR is 40-60k as a self build depending on spec and final engine choice (e.g. 750bhp mtor etc!).
The radical is in the 30-40k region and you can\'t pay for it in bits. Top spec RX might cost 30-40k but it\'ll have been done over a number of years, maybe 10k a year so us normal folk can affors supercar performance.
Ultima, Radical, Caterfields, Atom, etc are all top performing track toys and most will muller a sorted rx (the radical and ultima are essentially road going race cars though).
The only thing that\'s really important is enjoying our cars. As you said - lap times are more about the driver than the car. I have a quick car that, with a good driver would easily lap Brands very quickly but I\'m slowww and not very skilled. Much lower powered cars were lapping faster than me at the last MRC brands day although the torrential rain might have had a say in that!
I\'d certainly be up for a day there with the Coop crowd - always good to get out there with like-minded entusiasts.
