Is it possible to order a new door lock (the barrel only) and not need a new key. In other words a replacement barrel specific to my car, giving Mazda my chassis number.
Do you get what I mean?

I don\'t know on mazda\'s but mitsubishi put barrel numbers on the lock or ignition barrel which they should be able to order a new one of.

My key has a number stamped into it, i would think this number would tie in with one for the barrel

You can\'t order individual locks to match your key number. Have to order either a different lock, or a complete set. We can supply lock sets.

whats the cost?

I take it the set consists on both doors, ignition and boot. What about gloove box and lock on the rear bins?
