adrian flux were saying 3000.
adrian flux are good for modded cars but the rx id be getting wouldnt have any mods on it..
ive insured my metro gti with 1.8 conversion with them for the last year and my maestro turbo for good rates..
so if i get the rx then flux will just lose my business come renewal as 3000 is a joke :)

Ive got the same prob.
I\'m 25, had my bike licence 3 years but only had the car one for a year, noone will even qutoe me, my wife is 35 (winks) so having to put the insurance in her name, yet with me still on it the cheapest we can get is 1245 fully comp from elephant, thats with no ncd because its on our other car. It doesnt seem to matter that ive been riding a GSXR1000,  for 3 years

I\'m sure bell are part of some other group. Check the CC size stated, I\'d put money on it they quoted you on an RX7 with a CC of something like 2314cc not 2616cc. If that\'s the case and not 2616cc then they\'re quoting on an FC not an FD and they are much cheaper to insure.

Just from my experience.

cheers

Yep they quoted wrong, they did it on a 2.6 but only one turbo, i was gutted.
Ive just took insurance out with A quote 1137 fully comp, im not going to get cheaper than that. Makes you wonder how they work because my wife rang them for a quote in the evening, came out at 2500, but they rang back the next morning offering 1137, i had to take that one as i pick the car up on friday.....

Still not a bad price there Mark.

Bet you can\'t wait for the weekend now. Just take it steady if the weathers bad.... Actually take it steady even if it\'s good!

MissRX7 - highly reccommended you check your policy as I\'m pretty sure that Bell gave me a good quote until I went over with a fine toothcombe and they were quoting on a 2354cc not 2616cc. Makes a massive difference as I think the 2354cc is group 16 whereas the FD 2616cc is group20.

Check it sooner rather than later, the £500 saving on insurance wont seem so good if you have an accident and suddenly find your insurance is invalid as for the wrong car.

cheers

I\'m 28, got 3 years NCB on my bike which counted as nothing towards my car insurance. My Rex was insured with no NCB living in London for £1012 fully comp for the 10 month policy with elephant, for some completely stupid reason it was £300 cheaper to put my girlfriend on my insurance who\'s 30 and can\'t drive properly although she\'s had a licence for 12 years(Sorry Gen!)
I really need to find a decent insurer for the mods, does anyone know the deal with how much you have to tell them? i.e. do you tell them it\'s ported when they can\'t see it?
And why-o-why do you have to insure it as a 2400cc or 2600cc??????????

Btw - Bell and Elephant are both part of Admiral
