my cosmo\'s mapped thanks wgt

Just got back from WGT a big thank you to Pip and the crew for setting the microtech up for me.  421hp@6500rpm
The car was mapped at 10psi we\'re not sure what the car will do flat out as we called it a day at 6500rpm but the power curve was showing no signs of tapering off though the torque curve had just flattened out. i\'ll be back for another session when the stock intercooler has been upgraded for a large custom one.:wave

Well done Kev,  is that at the wheels?   The car must feel great,  roll on 15 psi:D
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Thats measured at the hubs Pip says they still have a issue with the calibration. The figures are all reading lower than they should be. As for 15psi its going to take a while to get used to 10psi first. Sods law i found out tonight the new intercoolers now in the country, i\'d of liked that on for mapping as according to the lads at WGT the stock one was resticting the flow and costing quite a bit of HP:3gears-rh

Very nice results :D

Pips Dynopack is reading low by approx 15% so add that onto your already great results, and it makes them even better.

421 + 15% = :D :D :D :D 484

Question please
Are you still running stabdard set up, ie twin turbos with that power ????????????

The mods to the car are listed in the members rides section. Its well worth the bit of cash to become a full member if only for the club discounts
In answer to your question i\'m running a 20b cosmo, street ported,GT42 single turbo, trial wastegate,1600cc secondarys and various other mods. I\'m still only playing with the car at the moment once the new intercoolers on i\'ll look at taking the boost beyond 10psi possibly with water injection as well

Yes must join, after rotorstock,

He said when he drove it, and the boost cut in, it all went blurrred. good luck with it. ANyway is, 500bhp not enough ?????:3gears-rh

What can i say whatever you\'ve got you always want a bit more!
Pip was under the impression the stock intercooler was a bit of a problem and as i\'ve just had a custom one shipped in from Aus i may as well put it on now. Then i\'ll probably go down the water injection route for a bit of saftey when i wind the boost up.
To be honest i didn\'t expect such good figures on my first attempt at playing with a 20b and credit must go to Pip for checking everything over and mapping the microtech for me.

All of my work is done via WGT and Pip, usually find it top notch no complaints until you hand money over :rollin :rollin :rollin

20B Boy YES Really :D

Had my car mapped at Pips the other week, and he explained that it was reading low by around 15% for the BHP, but not sure if it applies to the torque figure too.
