Looks lovely with a spattering of chrome or silver and satin black mmmm or maybe carbon fibre.

The orange would also hide the rust marks from coming through, but then no risk of that on GRP lol

Yeah, it wasn't an obvious choice for me,

My fav colour is yellow, but someone else is synonymous with that colour lol. mention no names.

Besides, I don't think I can deal with all the bugs it will attract in the summer lol. At least Clive drives fast enough that they cant keep up with his.

Not updated this thread for a while....

So Ive finally managed to shape all 4 wings.

Put the first coat of Crystic Primer on tonight. Mix it with the catalyst and brush it on like treacle.

2 more coats tomorrow then start flatting it all down.

Shows roughly how big the moulds are going to be, and the new panels...... then its D-Day ! lol

Evening chaps,

If anyone would like to stick their 2 pence worth its more than welcome, as I have no experience here.

Ive acquired a freebie, double thickness ali rad, fan shroud doesnt fit perfect so brackets need cutting off and doing properly, couple more like 200 cooling fins are bent hmmmm.

How sensitive are the 8's with temp? esp with the mods I was planning...... :dontknow:

Is it worth pursueing or buy new???  :dontknow:

Ive gotta change all the front rad sub frame due to the shape of the wings, but thats no biggie..... rather get the subframe designed round a new rad if the stock one wont cope.

Dimensions of the diffuser isnt playing ball with the chassis design,  :violent1: so Im off in to sulk with my bedtime reading

Buy new highly critical that you have a branded quality Alloy rad esp. For track use...Koyo rad gets my vote.

Ok, RBE  I presume?
quick question?

Just on the RBE website, noticed the integral filler cap, does that suggest I do away with the header tank?

+1 for the Koyo. I use it in my RX-8 as cooling is a big issue for a track work.
