FINALLY !!

So! come to fit the parts, there was some movement during bolting the mould together and laying up the glass.

The glove box and dashboard gaps were really annoying me, yeah I know its just a glove box, but a passenger will notice it!

So I carved a massive section out and reglassed it.

Just finished fitting it up.

Bit pi**ed off with it now, need to move onto something different like the centre console and integrating oil temp/pressure gauges and heater controls. Need to cover up the mounting bolts under the clocks.................

The paint and flocking can waiting till final fit up.

I may have launched the dash out the shed if it wasnt gonna play ball!  :angry5: :angry5: :angryfire: :angryfire: :violent1:

Like the clocks coming into contact with the heater !!

And breathe...........
Its just Rotors and GRP

Nice, really nice  :sign0098: But why glovebox?

Well, the honest answer is two-fold. The original purpose of the car was for it to be road legal, so, you know how it is when women need somewhere to put their designer glasses lol (Not being sexist, just factual)

Plus the fuses/relays/ecu/alarm boxes from the RX8 engine bay wont fit in the lotus engine bay, so I was gonna tuck them both high up on the passenger side bulk head.

The glove box hides a multitude of sins and by "popping" it out Ive got good access

No other reason......

Finance dictated it had to go 13 months ago,  after 14 years in an RX8 regretted ever since.
