Saw a Hercules Wankel motorbike at the station yesterday.
 Anybody heard of them b4?    :confused:

DKW/Hercules W2000

Yes, they were made by DKW and were the first rotary engined bikes. In some countries they were called a Hercules. The model name was W2000. They had a single rotor 294cc engine. This sidecar outfit from Germany was at Rotorstock this year...

Thats the very fella!  It was in A1 condition as well, the guy says he is going to keep an eye out for me as he only lives about 2 miles from my house.  Might see if I can get him down to a few gatherings.
