3rd generation RX-7's / KGParts.com
« on: December 11, 2004, 08:18:08 PM »
Just received my secondary fuel rail from Keith at KGParts along with a couple of other things, for my third gen. I\'ve used other rails before but with Keiths rail you can upgrade your primary rail also where as some others cause problems.

Well worth a look at if you\'re considering running big hp.

The loud clunking over potholes is usually classic rear pillow ball bushings worn out.

First off check that all vacuum hoses are connected and not split or cracked, check charge actuator control rod is not disconnected they have a tendancy to lose the shitty C clip that locates the rod, check your charge releif valve is not stuck open because if it is it will allow the boost to bleed off, make sure the turbo control solenoid is functioning right and pray your secondary turbo is not shot.:wave

With the power fc you will need the datalogit to use different maps in conjuction with a laptop.
To go 400+hp you will require to upgrade your secondary injectors, best route would be 1600cc secondaries with a supra pump with upgraded wiring to the pump, you will need an aftermarket rail to use the 1600 injectors also.

Don\'t know where you will be able to get the passenger footrest mate, but on the rz\'s the floorpan is different to accomadate it.

Himself;)
Anyone else need  a rebuild in birmingham?
