That sounds like what mine was like when I changed my intake set-up before I had it mapped. Maybe check all the air intake side of things to see if there is anything obvious.

Great car. Sorry to see your selling up mate. I guess all good things come to an end and all that.

alas no mate .. its very very very rare that i sell FC bits

I must have had it 10 yrs now

not even sure what model it is .. i think it was a SAFCII Limited Edition ( not sure why its limited though ?? )

It's a limited edition because its the only one left in existance that is still in its box and never been opened ;-)

Nice to see this is still about. It was too good a car to strip and break up. Grats on getting it back on the road :)

I believe that the earlier S4 turbos could not handle the same power as the later S5 ones. My S5 one is running circa 300bhp probably a touch under as we couldn't get enough fuel through the standard injectors when mapping it. I believe they are good upto around 320 BHP but that is maxed out. And as already mentioned, they are oil cooled.

There are guides on here somewhere for checking the TPS etc.

Or maybe a dodgy TPS. Mine use to do this ages ago. I never found the fault if im honest I just checked everything cleaned everything put it all back together and it worked again. They can be odd these blooming cars!

I guess I am old fashioned too then. I don't do social media. In fact I think the term is anything but social but maybe that is just me. Although my Rotary is off the road and is a very very long and slow project/restoration I still lurk here. I don't talk as much as I used too and don't really attend shows. I like the moving shows which is why Rotorstock was so good. It got both parts of the scene together. I've not lost the love for my rx7 but I have bought an MX5 to keep me busy on track/road until its back on the road. I've owned it a month and tracked it already :) I guess you can't keep a petrolhead away from what they love.

Sounds about right to me. They arnt adjustable on them iirc. As you lower the car the camber will be thrown out and the car will sit on  the inside edge of the tire. You will need to install adjustable camber arms to combat this but where you get them from im not sure.
