Good progress Clive
Have you weighed the old versus new doors to see the weight savings?

I think when we weighed them a few months back it was a saving of 10kilos per door plus the 12 from the PPF and then the 7kilo  I cut out before the last race :great:
Getting 40 kilo off the car  is obviously a little easier than getting 40 off me!

Jamie, Just seen this picture on FB.
I dont know if you have fitted the box up in the cars tunnel yet, but its maybe worth knowing the the five speed box is much slimmer and lighter.

Another little step forward yesterday / spent the day drilling and cutting fitting up the drivers door,

We now have two properly fitting and closing doors, real impressed with them.
Once they are painted and stickered up, from the outside your never going to know they are fiberglass

I think these cars are different. I saw Tim's scrap book years ago and as far as I remember he only Rallied the red car.
"Technically" Tim Nash, who came from Bristol was a works Mazda Driver for Mazda Motors (not the factory)

Great find with other two pictures.

Found a picture of the man I bought the RX-4 from many years ago.
He competed in the RAC Rally twice with the RX-3 seen below.
Cant be many RX-3 pictures like this out there.

A few years ago, we were given a guided tour around Carol (no sniggering at the back ;)) in Cyprus by the owner of the museum.

Bizarre thing was at the back was a double decker that read Crayford Bourne Road which was where I started my Mazda apprenticeship. To this day Bourne Road still sells Mazda’s.

Thread was a good read, sadly with the bad stuff we hear of far too many times but came out good in the end :great:.

Putting asside the greif involved, real plus side is that unlike many cars FD price's have risen dramaticaly during your ownership.
