I am told that Mazda have stopped making these now.

Try Autoglass as they may have some stock left.

If not contact us and we can have Pilkington glass make one for you to OEM spec that will comply fully with the MOT etc

hope this helps

General Technical / Surf City Garage - Beyond Clay Paint Polish
« on: April 25, 2014, 06:40:54 PM »
Hi Daniel

Why not take a look at the Surf City Garage Beyond Clay paint polish that we sell via
http://www.shyauto.com/bbeyond-clay-paint-polishb-1581-p.asp

Before you get that new paint job costing thousands of pounds, restore your faded paint with Beyond Clay.

This revolutionary polish does everything a clay bar does and beyond! Plus it\'s 100% safe for all surfaces, even clear coats.

Don’t waste money on clay bars. You don’t need them when you use Beyond Clay. Beyond Clay is a paint polish that does not contain harsh physical abrasives like many polishes out there.

Worth taking a look at the video link and the review.

We can supply a rebuild kit at £24

Could you tell us if the flange that meets the bulkhead is at a 45 degree angle or 180 degrees to the reservoir as we have supplied these before and they have come up wrong

Racing Beat have just told me that if you use an early 13B sump with the 12A  front cover it will let the TII bolt straight in by using the RB mounting brace.

Sorry Mick only just spotted this question,

In addition to the above this may help,

Racing Beat\'s extremely popular Front Engine Mount allows any 1974-85 13B engine to be installed into any 1979-85 12A RX-7 chassis. (The stock Mazda front engine mount from a 1984-85 13B GSL-SE engine cannot be used as an alternative due to differences in the design of the GSL-SE chassis front cross member.) When the Racing Beat engine mount is used in conjunction with the 1984-85 GSL-SE 13B engine using any 1974-85 13B Engine RX-7 oil pan, this laser-cut stainless steel mount greatly simplifies installation.

A Racing Beat manifold would also help.

2nd generation RX-7's / Track rod ends?
« on: September 13, 2013, 07:59:47 PM »
Update about this thread,

Sadly we have had to withdraw selling Gen 2 track rod ends as we have found all of our suppliers now have no stock and they have been discontinued :3Confused

As per a post on this thread we actually bought a pair for a  1990 MK1 MX-5 to double check and found that sadly even though they visually look the same the hole that screws onto the track rod itself is only 10mm and not the 12mm required for the Gen 2

Sharing this so nobody wastes any money

1st generation RX-7's / racing beat exhaust
« on: August 18, 2013, 04:51:49 PM »
Yes there is a 5% discount for all MRC club members on Mazdarotaryparts or Racing Beat Europe parts.

To answer your question all Racing Beat exhausts are renowned for not waking the neighbours up when you start the car but will still let you hear the exhaust when being driven "spiritedly"

Here is a link to the FB exhaust section from where quite a few people from here and Europe have brought systems for their Gen 1\'s, hope this helps

3rd generation RX-7's / Cataclean from mazdarotary parts

I am looking to get a bottle but afraid it may harm if no one has used it.

We have sold literally hundreds of bottles of this over the years and it defiantly won\'t do any harm as the RX-8 and RX-7 essentially share the same engine just with the modified intake and exhaust parts of the engine changed.

Personally used in in our RX-7\'s, RX-4, RX-8 plus normal road cars

To quote one owner who said he had honors degrees in engineering and chemistry in his signature,

"always thought this type of product was snake oil but cataclean actually works"

A by product of Cataclean is, because it makes the combustion charge burn hotter to clean the cat out it should help clean carbon out of your engine and seeing as carbon gums things up inside Rotarys, this can only be a good thing for any Rotary.

Hope this helps.

Wanted Items / WTD - bonnet release cable
« on: July 25, 2012, 02:20:51 PM »
We have a new Mazda cable assembly sealed in the packet on the shelf.

Normal price £42 plus post, yours for £30 delivered.

Normally recommend changing these on an FD because if the cable breaks your going to need a can opener to get the bonnet open again:o

If you want it simply paypal over the £30 to sales@mazdarotaryparts.com and we will pop it in the post

hope this helps

This may help,

A couple of months ago I drove a totaly stock R3 in and then fitted the  REVi Intake and REVi cat back exhaust and was staggered by the change in the car, much much more responsive on the loud pedal and soooooooooo much more enjoyable to drive :D
