Was It You I Spotted? / Silver in Bolton
« on: August 20, 2004, 10:15:01 AM »
yep yep,

the silver one belongs to a guys I think called Devin, he\'s had it around 4 months now and from what I\'ve seen, is always in and out of lanes :)

If you see a black un, montego blue one or an early silver type R, then that could be me or one of me bro\'s :p

General Technical / high revs/not right

ooh ooh... I know what this is.. just dont know what its called.. DOH!

its something to do with lower inlet manifold gasket which is letting air in. Consequently, you\'re revving higher.

But i\'m sure, one of the Guru\'s will answer your question.

Wheels & Tyres, Suspension & Brakes / Whats the reasoning?
« on: August 08, 2004, 08:46:09 PM »
Hi

Is there any significant reason why the tyres need changing on cars from Japan? I\'ve noticed a lot of the owners here have had their tyres changed almost immediately after taking delivery on a fresh import.

Cheers

Hi,

Any of you fella\'s have Mazdaspeed\'s adjustable suspensions on your fd\'s? If so, how do they feel or if anyone has done any drifting in em?

Also, any idea as to how much these would cost? I\'m only after an approximate price if anyone would like to take a guess.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

me thinks you\'re going to have a bit of a problem finding a non accident damaged repaired one for 2000000 yen.

be careful thou son, you\'re gonna need a model report for it and I dont think there is one yet. :flamed

A chap in my neighbourhood had bought a Landcruiser Amazon, without a model report it watch it stand in the drive till someone does one or pay around £4500 to do your own.

General Technical / got off lightly

should think i\'ve been lucky.

cranked the car up this morning, went for a drive down to PC World, came out and theres a massive puddle coming from under the bonnet and ended near my front wheel. S**TE!

Started her up, coolant warning light comes up. Poured coolant in again and after starting up, once again all the coolant finished on the floor.

Hmmmm... then after closer inspection, realised the rubber housing which the radiator cap sits on had worn down and cracked... phew!

Hopefully, replacing that tomorrow should do the job!

Would that include shipping??

At £3500, including shipping, you would be looking at arround £5000 fully registered me thinks.

Do you have any pics of it mate?

cheers
