Hi bud...start saving now and you never know.....prices are at an all time low .....plus if you bend your old mans arm you could persuade him to let you learn rear wheel drive in the MX5...the cars are cracking and dont deserve the womans hairdresser image.....ive had a bout 17 mx5\'s mk1 at last count and have a rare merlot at present....great drivers cars.
Don\'t worry mate...it gets very busy.....I\'ve been to everyone .....as very local to me. Its an amazing show....
If you\'ve got a stand pass then you\'ll be inside the circuits complex and only Jap cars. No stand pass Public carpark.
Apparently there opening earlier for Stand pass and later for Public but will be q\'s unless you go ( and know ) the back way in!
If your coming off the motorway at J17 then leave early it will be busy from there to circuit! If you and your mate have not got stand passes then prob best to go in 1 car...but thats no fun! Watch out for the Rozzers...its a turkey shoot for them !
prob get a cheapo rx8 231 with hot startin issues.....and leave running allday ....lol!
Was good fun last year....if you\'ve never been on track this is an ideal time as your out with fellow rotor heads and the etiquette shown by others on track was excellent and driving standards far better than the public sessions....where there\'s a nut case in a colt scooby scalping! lol
These mr2 are not fetching alot...plus my wifes has the curse of cat D on it! we are moving house very shortly as well and could do with the cash! Its a cracking little car but she fancied a change after 3 years and wanted more power!!!! Now she has a Astra Turbo Convertible....190 bhp she is well happy!
arch rollers are quite cheap now bud...seen them on ebay for £80 ..... but never done it myself....cheaper than a new of wheels.....may be worth doing some research on a local bodyshop that can do it for you....they heat the paint so its flexible and gently flatten the lip .....suspect no guarantee though....
The wheel (and hence tyre) is too far out from the hub , the movement is a radius...et 20 is wrong should be 35 offset ideally so under suspension compression the tyre can go up inside arch without catching lip.
