« on: December 28, 2020, 12:16:34 PM »
I hope everyone had a good but safe Christmas despite the lockdown!

Hopefully all full club members have now received your MRC 2021 calendar; we wanted to send you all something for your continued support.

We have 11 calendars still available should anyone wish to buy one?  Sorry I do not have the images of all the pictures for the calendar, but they are good and printed on heavy weight paper, so are not your usual flimsy calendar. :icon_thumright:

The delivered cost is £10.00 and payment can be sent via PayPal to

Events Calendar / Possible Christmas get together?
« on: September 16, 2019, 08:05:25 PM »
Just wondering if anyone is interested in me arranging a Chritmas get together?

I was looking at Ettington Chase Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, for Saturday 14th December

The menu is not a great variety but is reasonably priced.  The reason I am looking at this hotel is because it is the same village as and thouhgt we could go there on the Sunday before heading back home.

If this is to far away for people, then please let know of other options.

Events Calendar / Hotel for Rotarystock July 2019
« on: December 04, 2018, 09:10:47 PM »

Just to let you know that the Apollo Hotel Lelystad City Centre, Lelystad currently has deals via Expedia.  We have booked for 4 nights inc breakfast for £365. Pay on arrival. Canx up to 3th July. Works out at approx £90 per night inc breakfast for 2

If you are serious about going I would book asap.  This is the same hotel we have used for many years and there is a safe car parking area opposite the hotel.  Also local to shops and restaurants.

It would be good if we are all based at the same hotel.

Rotary and General Chit-Chat / Attn:_ RX-7 FD Owners - BBC need your help
« on: October 19, 2018, 01:29:01 PM »
I have received a message from Lizzie regarding the auction of an RX7 FD on the BBC programme 'Ill Gotten Gains', a documentary series,

Please email if you wish to take part and then we can forward your contact details on to Lizzie,

I’m contacting you on behalf of a BBC One programme 'Ill Gotten Gains', a documentary series following regional organised crime units and police forces as they take down Britain's criminals by seizing their assets and selling them at auction...

I’m getting touch as we are currently filming the third series of the show and as part of this recently filmed the auction of an RX7 FD seized by the police. We are keen to also interview an RX7 owner who can tell us a little more about what makes these cars so desirable etc. and get a few shots of them in their own vehicle showing off what it can do.

I wondered if it was possible to put a shout out on the page to see if any of the owners would be up for helping? Or if there were any get togethers planned we could come along to shoot.

Any help you can give would be much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks
