It's the dearest Cosmo  I have seen @120K but its by far the best other than a time machine to buy a new one
Im not sure about Clive. Cause at Concource de elegance at Het Loo, I heard that, that Cosmo in there had bigger price. Someone said that its in 130k range... Well, dunno for sure but that I heard there...

Cosmo at Lelystad was in 100k range I reckon...

Btw, James is super good dude, I reckon if you contact him, he will help you out.

As for his (old) car, that car took lots of beating thru several years, and still he went milk shopping with that car

As those gents said, FD gearbox and diff are actually quite strong. But mountings usually cause them to fail.

Torque that your 20B makes, will probably blow up that T56 too, so I reckon that best optio for you is to use those cheap 5 speed Renny boxes. However, you will have to change clutch type.

FD diff can take lots of beating. That wheelhop tels that your bushings are gone basically. So change all of them. Get diff brace/cradle (dunno correct word for it), and pinion snubbers. Also, gearbox and PPF should be bolted together proberly. Any movement can make them fail, especially PPF.

Tom 20B's post prompted me to fine a couple of pictures of my old FD at Santa Pod from 2004 .
Normal road car, full interior etc, small GT35 fitted.

Decided to see what it went like up the strip, ran three 12.1's and went home  ;)
12s? Nice.

When ya think of a great idea and someone has beat ya to it.

Is there anything unique anymore......

I think i'm gonna have to carve up the leggy and build a 3 Wheel Drive Morgan 3 wheeler rep...... lol
Umm, thats actually very used idea. Even here in northpole is one of those Anglias with rotary. Runs (used to) high 10s in quartermile

Do you mean stiff 8.8 rear axle? Cause dropping rear end with links to a car just wont do anygood. Just bolting it on without knowing what you are doing, makes car launch worse than with stock IRS...

You have to figure out do you want to use 3 or 4 link. Use Panhard or Wat. And what kind of links you want, raising or dropping links. Have to figure out center of mass in cars chassis, so you can calculate links lenghts...

Unfortunately my english isnt so good, and this thing is difficult for me to explain...

Only way to do stiff rear axle swap for drag racing is to contact car builder/racer who can do all those things for you. Chassis setup and getting these things to work is witch craft, and needs pro to do it...

Mazda’s Testing An RX-8 Mule At The Nurburgring

Few thoughts on this one, why Mazda is using "really old car" for a mule..?

-new RX-9 chassis is similar to 8s, so they can test their patented new front end. As seen in R3, it is more advansed than old one is.

-new rotary engine is tested, cause they propably have prototypes allready. Also, hydrogen Renny could be on tests again

-new inline engine is tested, cause they have done lots of work with their new engines. New engines are awesome, so I could suspect that they could bring new NA and/or turbo engine. I reckon they could sell rx-9 with high powered fourbanger. Allthou it wouldnt be RX then

-remember, Mazdas current CEO is visionary, it could be anything
