I am looking for an apexi power fc for my \'92 FD. I prefer the FD3S4 model. If its only the ecu without the commander thats also fine. But prefer it with the commander. And it needs to be in good shape.
"" Pull key out halfway, stops the beeping. Turn ignition on and it will stop (listen to the stereo while you work)
The beeping will save you from leaving your keys unattended in the car and walking away. Thats what it is intended to do.
The source of the beep is one wire from the ignition lock, that runs back under the dash into CPU #2. You can cut it, but then:
A. the car will not remind you that you\'ve left the keys in the ignition (potential security problem- theives can just walk up, start it up with your keys and off they go) B. car will not remind you that you have your lights/park lights left on, when you leave the car. (battery will then drain, and you come back to a dead car)
Learn to love it. Record the beeping, and play it on a tape recorder by your bedside at night while asleep. Subconsciously you will begin to love the sound. ""
maybe that is the anwser.? i need to pull some wires for gauges next week. So will take al look under the colum
Just thought about something. Last year i deleted my airbag. And from then there was a red light on the dash that there was something wrong with the airbag. So i deleted that light from the dash. And when we did that. Now everytime i start the car. I hear 7 beeps. Thats a warning that a light is broken in the dash. Isnt that also the same buzzer? Or are there more buzzers in the dash?
Well last time i did that there was no "beep " indeed...... @the redline... but i thought i wasnt at the redline.... Kinda scary that is also doesnt work when my coolant is low... are there any relais under the dash?
