No not warped but a pitted contact patch from standing and some inline grooves from 2 pad life cycles...so took 1 mm of each face to be completely smooth.
My work mates done it for me 1 was a RN engineer and the other a tool maker so between them they made up a boss to hold the disc and set it up with 1 thou runout before facing off. Lost some depth to the j hook groove.
Obviously with competition like this im the best looking engineer on my shift lol.

Sounds very plausible...fingers crossed. I know from cutting mine and Clives loom down the feeds and earths go up n down the loom and several crimp joins for earths and power once you start picking them apart..plus like you say several big block connectors...

On the larger black box theres load of 12v feeds and several earths too. Would only take  1 to be missing and no dice.
My westy has no abs no rx8 dash no sas no tc basically fusebox and pcm and runs so can discount all that...a code read would help.

found it.....

the receiver is required but not coded. got some doubt in my mind of the coil...but all your parts are from the same running car?

Trying to find a photo and failed.
You need pcm, key and visteon immobiliser module all from same car. The coil and receiver are dumb and not needed to be coded. As all your bits came from a running car must be a power feed or missing earth. Not sure why your cars priming the fuel pump though.
