Parts for sale / Re: Mazda RX7 13B Peripheral Port Rotor Housings for sale.

Might want to change the price, I just read it as £200 because its written £!200 and not £1200.

I would have bitten your arm off at £200

No noise restrictions at all, with the exhaust pointing out of the left hand side it will also be useful for distracting whoever I'm racing, providing I am staged in the right hand lane.

Chuffing steering rack colum fouls on the manifold but not a big issue as we will just take a scallop out of the header tube etc, won't effect anything

This is where the turbo is going to stay, clears the abs so don't have to try move it or remove it, placing it here has create enough room to loop the down pipe back on itself if I wish to run a full exhaust system, but more importantly I can send the exhaust straight across the engine bay, down around and pointing out Infront of the front passenger side wheel which will be better for my lungs and ears as the fuel flames and mighty braps will be pointing away from the drivers side, especially seeing as the car is a convertible and the turbulence will try suck the fumes straight into the cabin

Some slight productivity, turbo manifolds make me happy

Clive I remember looking at your turbo manifold and it had reducers from the main pipe into the turbo T4 flange, do you know where they came from? I need a couple for my manifold

So...... Yeh the rx8 rack is not any different don't know why I thought it was, must have been tired from working nights

So I have steering again, haven't got the tie rod ends nits tightened up yet but they will hold for the moment to help with the move, just need to put a copper washer on the brake front passenger side and then bleed them so they will work a bit lol

Dunno, but that amount that I have put money on my engine allready, Skyline lump would go upto 1000 horses, and mine wont give me even 500...  :13: :'(
Iv been watching a YouTube channel, motive dvd I think where they go through making big power with RB engines and to get them to 1,000 hp you are looking a lot of work, and lots of dollars. They even go into depths of choosing the right block to start with by measuring the bore thickness and deck thickness, something a lot of the RB engines casting are poor especially when you compare them to a 2 JZ block, which essentially Toyota looked at the RB block and made improvements on the RB weaknesses

Which is why the 2J can pump out 2000 hp on a stock block

I will try get under the car tomorrow and get it bolted up, maybe my wheels aren't level as the rack seems wider

If say the air is cleaner now than it used to be than when they used to burn everything and there was smoke and smog so thick you couldn't see across the street

When you installed the steering rack did it fit straight up to the mx5 hubs?

Yeh I think mazda have now been using their highest compression ration petrol engine and then the lowest compression diesel engine.

I read an article ages ago about it, ways to try increase efficiency and produce higher mpgs

They had issues with the American cars due to the low octane fuel they can use so they just changed the turbos or the boost pressure to make up for the poor fuel

Yep, with mazda being the only people to develop the rotary, apart from the aftermarket which is very small comparatively, there's just not enough development to make it viable for mazda imo
