Rotary and General Chit-Chat / Request for a Gen1 RX-7
« on: August 29, 2019, 08:30:41 PM »
Received a request from Custom Cages for use of a Gen 1 RX7 so that they  can measure the body shell, allowing us to design and fabricate a roll cage for this model.
We are hoping that we may be able to find one through car clubs such as yourself.   We would be happy to offer the owner of said vehicle a fee, or a roll cage of the car instead as way of a thankyou.    We will also be shouting praise of your car club  if you can help us online and through social media.
Would you be able to offer any assistance at all?
Please do feel free to call me to discuss if your preference: 01372 872 855
Many thanks for your time.

Best regards

Quentin L. Perry

For the first time ever the American Super Street magazine brought out a special Rotary Only edition.

We imported these specially for people here on the club  but could only get six and Jamie has one so there's only five.

Posted these will cost £15 each posted within the UK.

If you would like one please send the £15 via PayPal to

Rotary and General Chit-Chat / Worldwide 7's Day
« on: July 09, 2019, 08:05:18 PM »
Looks like the UK missed the boat or we forgot all about it! but with pictures coming in from Japan, Finland, Netherlands, Sydney, New York, California and South Africa,  no pictures from 7's day here in the UK

Having looked at next year 7th July falls on a Tuesday, so any thoughts about putting on a gathering of RX7's somewhere?

As per the title we had an invite to Belgravia Square.

As you can imagine I was the only Rotary there and only one of maybe four Japanese cars there out of 2-300 invited cars!

Many of you know, I like many types of car especially the unusual  and  there were many cars there that I had never seen in pictures, plus of course more Henry's and debutantes  than you could shake a stick at.

All in all it must have been one of the most expensive assembled car collections for one day ever! and all joking aside, it was an amazing event.

They even had Dame Joan Collins there presenting the two awards. Poor souls obviously couldn't afford any more trophy's once they had paid for the  Champers  :))

Must admit, as you will see, I loved the slogan on one of the benches

All joking aside, it was a truly amazing event.
