Rotary and General Chit-Chat / a wee tip off from the neighbours
« on: June 07, 2007, 07:54:40 PM »
Just had 1 of my neighbours round to tell me her daughter saw 2 blokes eyeing up my car, ie taking pic\'s etc. Apparently 1 of them turned to the other and said "are you sure this is the 1" then they left in a bit of a hurry.

Now I park my car in a garage when I\'m not driving it, but on this occasion I had just come back from a short drive and had parked it out the front of my house. this was about 3:30 pm yesterday. I\'m now quite concerned, people just dont turn up and take pictures do they? without some alterior motive?:eek

Guess I better make some plans to have it put somewhere else for the time being.................:(

We have had complaints about the picture that was here which was a picture of a cat that had been run over.

Unfortunately on forums there is a fine line as to what is acceptable and what is not!.

Anyway I though I would replace the picture with one that shows a cat GETTING HIS OWN back.

On my way to Kev\'s yesterday arvo driving in the outside lane when my gearbox decided to lockup on me in 5th, snapped the bell housing clean off from the engine, twisted and spat the tail shaft off. Luckily there wasnt alot of traffic around at the time couldve been really ugly (apprently, as Rixio was behind me ).
Thanks Rixio for helping pickup bits of my car off the M62 and sticking with me till the recovery truck turned up and also thanks for giving me a lift home after the Leeds meet your a champ mate.  While on the subject of thanks, Kev thankyou aswell for letting me leave my car on your drive (again!) "top bloke". Will call you later about you know what  ;)

Thinking about it last night when I got home I\'m a lucky guy it couldve been worse, just thankfull I didnt have the missus and kids and no one was hurt.

Pic\'s to follow tonight.
