Strange like an rx8 pz...which is missing the pz bits...was there an official fb rx7 twr? Like rx8 pz...does it say pz on a logbook though?..i dont know...its special thats all that matters..

No. never an official twr FB. There is so much incorrect info out there in various databases. Even the DVLA get it wrong. If you have a late registered FB (1986), it will most likely be recorded as a RX7 2 (as in Gen2). Then unsuspecting newbie rotary owner orders parts based on the registration plate info!

I had every intention of taking a lot of pics but got slightly distracted      I had just papped a Mitsubishi Sapporo and then went all peculiar having been confronted by this   :love4:

Just sitting under a tree, minding it's own business and being largely ignored!

Which was good for me

Dish baby   :)

Willwood anchors for the front

Old Skool headlamp mods   8-)

Started life with a 10a heart

Now has 12a turbo and gearbox from a HB Cosmo

Teleported over to our shared stand and an appreciative audience

The owner has a really interesting background, having worked at Elford Engineering, served a Mazda apprenticeship and worked alongside a certain Tim White.

A couple of pics of TWiR before she goes off to be showered and waxed. Still some work to do in terms of electrics, handling, (as in shocks, springs, steering and bushes) and breathing (swap the tinny old janspeed for an elford sysytem). All in all, a bit to be going on with (I can see all the Haywards boys rubbing their hands now LOL).

Hi there folks. Long time rotary owner bitten by the bug yet again. I bought my first rotary back in 1980, an RX3 coupe. Over the next 10 years I had a succession of rx2s, 3s and 4s. A break of 10 or so years and then a mint FC.

Have been in the UK for 7 os so years ans have recently purchased a series 3 FB so am looking forward to getting back into the rotary frame.

Hope to catch up with some of you soon. :Thumbs-up
