Ahh, do wish I had the patience you do to undertake such things.

If you Google dragon performance rat rx7 you will find plenty of pictures

After he ran a low 9 in his street car, which was the record for maybe 9 years before James Willday broke it, dragon aka Ross bought a black rx7 from the states which was caged to run 7.5 seconds I think, solid rear axle etc.

Think he launched the car and blew the flywheel to bits nearly cutting his feet/toes off.

Dont think he raced it after that as from talking to others he didn't like it because eit was a street car anymore or something.

Anyway, that car ended up and still is as far as I know at Carl Haywards, Liam was going to race it but it never came out of the workshop.

Last time I went there I saw that black states car and it was rough, really rough. Think it has a one piece front end which is rediculously heavy.

Cage probably wouldn't pass tech to run 7.50s any more.

Would be ideal for me to use but just as much work to correct things as it would be to start from scratch like I am

But of a history for you there though

That Dragon car, does someone know what happened to it?

The black one? He turned it into a drift car. Then stripped all the paint off it to look like a rat rod rx7.

And as far as I know from a video tour of his garage he still has it in a lock up container, if he ever decides to do something again with it

I don't know, when he crashed it was down to one of the bolts on a brake caliper falling out and the caliper falling off from what I can remember. Not too long after that I stopped going on fduk

Doesn't come with fuses, or if it did iv lost them

I remember mainly getting it because it has the push button to start

Purchased on the 24th of May, delivered on 2nd of July...

Good old parcelfarce.

Had to track down the parcel, speak to different people to get the custom charge number because they hadn't sent me one in the post, ring up and try pay the charge 3 times but the automated phone service doesn't work.

Tried paying online 5 times until it went through.

Paid for delivery to be delivered last Saturday for an extra £12. Didn't turn up.

Rang them again Wednesday at parcel farce, who then messaged the Rotherham depot where it has been for nearly a month to get them to deliver it....

Taken longer to deliver it 40 miles than it did to travel from the US to the UK

I put the dash "spine/skeleton" back in as it's been moved so many times out of my way it was starting to annoy me. And then put the dash panel back on. All held in with just 10 screws instead of the 6,347 I took out to get it out in the first place

Glad I kept the spine as the dash would have been all floppy and looked crap

Have thrown my switch panel in too to see what it looked like, although there's probably only going to be the starter and water pump on the switch panel, I will have to think of some other stuff to use the switches for?? Arming nitrous maybe

Removed all the remaining wiring from behind the dash and half of the sound deadening

Currently sat in my car waiting for the turbo manifold flange to turn up as I managed to locate and pay for the import duty

Imagine if you had a sequential gear box, that would shave plenty of time off too?

A sequential box would be worth at least two seconds around brands as there's two places I run out of revs and have to feather the throttle out. This is the faster way because by the time I change up and down again it costs even more time. With a sequential gear box you would run a lower diff ratio and be able to change gear real quick.
What rpm arr you revving too?
