I was just wondering, can everyone who had timed their lap times, can put them on this thread that I can do compare them, just for fun.
Would be awesome to do cheet like:
Model, basic mods, track and time.
For example, Jon has timed his cars at Castle Combe. And I know many of you have too

Mine’s on coil overs , stripped put car with half cage .

At the Jdm days its flying by the normal rx8s. Wayne is a 1.19s boy and thats a well driven track rx8...with a bbk and slicks. Front splitter and rear wing. I think 1.19 is best of the best for an rx8 til you turbo charge it. Where as..looks at Steve Putt..1.08 in an rx7...ls7 engine. 285 slicks aero bgw..etc.

Undertray done and it attaches to subframe ..got a splitter too but gonna extend it. I gotta take front bumper and undertray of so will add some stanchions down from the front chassis legs for support. I think it all comes down to the 8s superior suspension design at the rear....thats why an rew powered 8 is such a good idea.Keep sliding brother

Fun thread. The only track I've driven both cars at is Snetterton. 2 dry days in an 8 with a best lap of 2.31. I did 2.25 on my 2nd session in the FD before play time was abruptly ended lol. The long straights really favour a powerful car, even though the RX8 is more capable through the faster corners like Coram.Yeah, true. As far as I know, Snetterton favors powerfull cars...

I only managed a handful of laps in the FD, so there's room for improvement. Some of the other FD guys I've been there with have managed sub 2.20 laps.

Both former cars now. That RX8 had Cusco sway bars but otherwise stock. The FD was extensively modified and was on a EFR 8374 IWG turbo running about 1.1 bar so based on others with that turbo, I would estimate at least 450bhp.Oh, so there was big differense between those cars. Well, I quess that time lap differense tells that too
