Title: ATE Blue brake fluid
Post by: andrewrx7 on June 03, 2014, 10:03:35 PM
Hi,

Just bought some ATE Super Blue DOT 4 brake fluid. I notice on the front it states it is illegal for use in road cars. A very quick scout on the net suggests this is a US thing, where the fluid can only be clear or amber (in other words the fluid is the wrong colour!).

Anyone know whether this also applies to the UK?

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks Martin. Will go ahead with the swap then. But what a daft situation for the Americans! "It\'s the wrong colour"!:Giggle
