Just finished fitting by 99 Spec spoiler and front bumper but have a question about the front bumper.
Is there a piece that fits into the mouth of the bumper ? I cant see my Koyo lasting very long or should I stick some mesh in there.
Any help much appreciated
It\'s a big gaping hole stock mate :) Mesh FTW!
I have a \'99 RB which I believe to be reasonably original. All of the airways in the bumper are open, so mesh may well be the way to go.
No mate, it\'s a wide open hole.
Unlike the RX-8 which is/was so prone to aircond condensor damage that Mazda fitted grilles to later models, the FD\'s heavily angled jobbie seems much less prone to stone damage.
Don\'t think I\'ve ever heard of a late FD with a punctured condensor.....rest easy.
If you do get mesh, dont get stuff with small holes, creates turbulence at high speeds, and your temperatures will go up!
Just like mine, and another rx owner..so not a coincidence!
This is getting a bit like Harry Hill which one is best :)
Many thanks for all the input
Well, I like no mesh, but I also like mesh...:D
